Sunday July 14, 2024, Maripat and I are doing Turtle Creek from O’Riley Road to Sweet Allyn Park. Note: this to replace the Rock River paddle from Beloit to Riverside Park that scheduled before. Please note the water levels are good. Currently the forecast has highs around 91 degrees and partly cloudy for Sunday. Currently, the Turtle Creek is at 4.36 Feet and running at 219 cubic feet per second. This is a little high for this time of year but doable.
Meet 9:47am at O’Riley Rd. put-in (at 5310 S O Riley Rd, Darien, WI 53114). Car shuttle at 10:00am. FYI: O’Riley Road bridge is out where crosses Turtle Creek.
