Moon Light Paddle on Pierce Lake |

Have you ever wanted to try kayak at night under a full moon in Pierce Lake? Here is your chance to try it. We will start at 7:00 PM at main boat ramp at Pierce Lake weather permitting. Pierce Lake is in Rock Cut State Park in Loves Park, IL. We will then paddle around the lake until 8:30PM. You must have a good flash light so that you can be seen also it would be a good idea to have bug spray and warm clothing. We will have to be out of the park by 10:00 PM. I try to do this paddle every month on a Friday just before a full moon. Check the Stateline Calenders for dates and posible changes. |

Join the Stateline Paddlers for Tuesday Paddle
Join the Stateline Paddlers for a leisurely paddle on Pierce Lake. We will meet in the Rock Cut main boat ramp area by the Concessions a round 6 PM. This will not be on the first and third Tuesday of the month. The first Tuesday of the month will be Green Tuesday and the third Tuesday will be the Club Meeting. This is a free for all paddle. We have lined up some games like clothes pin pick off or dead fish polo or maybe some practice sessions. Like always we have be off of the lake and out of the park before 10 PM. We hope to keep this going as long as we can in the year, weather permitting of course.
